Professional Training develops strength, artistry, creativity, and discipline through classical ballet and additional techniques while preparing the dancer for further dance studies and a professional career.
All the School’s students take part in the School Spring Showcase. Students are offered the opportunity to take part in BNC’s performances such as “The Nutcracker”, always when casted.
For students 9-13 years old; attendance is two times a week for ballet class, pointe class, contemporary, repertoire and physical training
Students are expected to consistently demonstrate correct alignment and vocabulary of previous years. Focus is on coordination as exercises in allegro and adagio become more challenges

In addition, Pre-Profesional 2 intermediate will have one supplemental class such as jazz, flamenco, or character. Emphasis is on developing a more mature approach and understanding of the classical vocabulary. Classes become increasingly more challenging and students are expected to demonstrate the technical skill and stamina required for this syllabus.P

Academic senior year students, upon completion, will graduate from BNC School with a certificate from BNC’s highest Professional Training completion

For students 17-20 years old. Trainee 1 & 2 is designed to prepare the student for a professional career in ballet by refining the classical foundation and honing artistry and facilitating the transition to the professional career. The Trainee 1 program is under the school management unlike the Trainee 2 program which is totally under the company direction.
Students in Trainee 1 program are working 2 times per week with the main company, on Tuesday and Thursday.
In addition, Trainee 1 students may be considered for corps work with Ballet de Catalunya Company throughout the season.
Attendance is six times a week and includes:
