Ballet for adults and for young people who dance because they want to, not because they are heading for a career. No audition, no experience, no level required. If you have never done a plié in your life, the beginners class is the one written for you.
Ballet for everyone
We believe ballet is for everyone, adults with little or no dance experience included. These classes are a proper workout, grounded in classical technique, and they are taught by faculty of the school and of the company — the same people who teach the same steps to the dancers of Ballet de Catalunya. All of them are for people who love to dance and want to keep feeling the joy of it.
Adults who have never danced. Adults who danced as children and stopped twenty years ago. Young people who love ballet and are not aiming at a professional career. Everyone in these classes is here for the same reason: because they want to be.
Have a look at the levels before you sign up — and if you are in doubt, take the lower one. It is the advice we give everybody. You can also just ask us: tell us what you have done, and we will tell you where you fit. Nobody has ever been turned away for choosing wrong.
Come to a trial class for 12.75 € and see the room from inside. If you would rather not commit to a month, there are single and ten-class passes. And if after a class it turns out not to be for you, nothing has happened.
Starting from zero
These are the six things adults say to themselves before they call us. All six are worth answering out loud, because not one of them has ever stopped somebody being welcome in the beginners class.
I have never danced in my life
The beginners class is written for people who are entirely new to classical ballet, and for people coming back after many years away. It starts at the beginning: the words, the first positions, how to stand. The teacher assumes you know nothing, because that is the point.
I am too old for this
There are adults starting in their thirties, their fifties and later. There is also a class made specifically for older adults, with the same classical technique and gentle modifications for well-lived backs, hips, knees and ankles.
I am not flexible at all
It is what the class gives you, not what it asks of you. Nobody arrives flexible. What is asked of a beginner is that they turn up and repeat, which is why we suggest two classes a week rather than one.
Everyone will be watching me
A ballet class faces a mirror, and everybody in it is busy with their own alignment. The only person looking at you is the teacher, and that is what you are paying for.
I will not be able to keep up
The same exercises come back week after week, in the same order. That is the method, not a lack of imagination. What is impossible in October is ordinary by February, and you will not notice the day it changed.
I do not have a dancer's body
Nobody here is auditioning for anything. There is no uniform in the adult classes: a leotard you like, tights, soft shoes. Come in what you feel good in, and stand where you feel like standing.

Book a trial class →Fees for the 2026/2027 season. The registration fee is paid once and is not refundable. Discounts for siblings, annual payment and large families are applied at enrolment — ask the school office. A group with fewer than eight people is cancelled and the fees are refunded.

Before enrolling
One class, no commitment and nothing to prepare. Bring something you can move in and we will lend you the rest of the courage.
For a trial class, contact us. Tell us whether you have danced before — the honest answer, including never — and which evening suits you. We will put you in the class that fits and tell the teacher you are coming. The trial class costs 12.75 €, paid by card when you book it. Online booking is on its way; for now the school office arranges every trial by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Without enrolling
For people whose month does not fit into a timetable. Both passes are bought in person at the school office, at least thirty minutes before the class starts.

Short list. Adults do not need a uniform, and nobody is going to check your bag.
There is no school uniform in the adult programmes. Wear what lets the teacher see your line and lets you forget what you are wearing.
