Your week starts at 7:30.
Five mornings, three disciplines, one teacher. From 7:30 to 8:30, on the sprung floor where a professional company trains — and you are out of the door by twenty to nine. Twenty places a class. Not eighty.
Registration is free until 30 September. Twenty places a class, and they are named.
No registration fee in September · 0 € instead of 29 € · 20 places a class
Before we talk about classes
You just checked. Everybody does.
You wake up and the day is already pulling at you.
Your neck and your shoulders are tight before you have done anything.
You have not moved properly in weeks, and your back has started to mention it.
You sit down at nine and stand up at seven in the same shape.
And by eight in the evening there is nothing left to give to an exercise class — so you do not go.
None of that is a fitness problem. It is stress with a physical shape, and it does not resolve itself. What works against it is moving before the day starts: one hour, early, that nothing can take away from you, because nothing has happened yet. At 8:30 it is done — and the rest of the day happens to somebody who has already trained.
What a place includes
You are not joining a gym. You are joining the school of a professional dance company, and a place here comes with things no fitness centre in Terrassa can put on a list.
Sixty minutes from 7:30, not the forty-five of a gym class. Yoga, Pilates and B-Pump, Monday to Friday.
A named place in a room that would take thirty, on the floating floor a professional company trains on every day.
Clara Sánchez teaches all three disciplines. No rotating instructors, no starting again every term.
Clara is a graduate in nutrition. One consultation with her at the start of the season comes with the B-Fit Pass and The Five Mornings.
Ballet de Catalunya performs a full season. Everyone enrolled gets reduced tickets — for you and for the people you bring.
Free invitations to open rehearsals, workshops and pre-performances: the company at work, before the audience ever sees it.
Why here
Yoga, Pilates and strength training are on the timetable of every gym in town. What changes is the room you do them in, the number of people in it, and who is watching you while you do them.
In a room for thirty. A gym class runs forty to eighty.
A full hour. A gym class gives you 45.
The same specialist in the three disciplines, all season.
Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 8:30. Done before nine.
Until 30 September. 29 € after that.
In a gym class you arrive early to get a spot, and the person at the back spends the hour watching somebody's shoulders instead of the teacher.
HerePlaces are capped and named. Twenty places in every class, in a room that would physically take thirty. You will have space around you on every side, which is not a luxury: it is what lets you extend an arm.
A fitness instructor teaches many bodies a week. A dance school teaches the same bodies for years, and is responsible for what happens to them.
HereThis school trains dancers who cannot afford an injury, and it teaches injury prevention and physical preparation as part of the professional pathway. That is the same knowledge, applied to you.
It was built as conditioning for dancers, and it spent decades in dance studios before it reached the gyms.
HereYou are doing it where it belongs, with people who use it the way it was designed: to hold a body together, not to burn a number of calories.
The value of a class is somebody telling you that your hip is dropping. A room of sixty people at eight in the evening cannot give you that.
HereCorrecting alignment out loud, one person at a time, is the whole method of a ballet school. In these classes it is the same.
Fitness classes happen on concrete with a rubber mat over it. Your knees, your ankles and your lower back absorb everything the floor refuses to.
HereOur main studio has a sprung floor — the floating construction built so that a company can jump on it every day for a career. It is the single thing in this building that a gym cannot install, and it is under you for the whole hour.
A gym class lasts forty-five minutes because the room has to be emptied for the next one. That is a timetable decision, not a training decision.
HereA full hour, every class. Over a month that is four hours instead of three — a third more class for your money — and inside the hour it is the difference between a rushed warm-up and a proper one.
The evening class is the one you skip. Something comes up, you are tired, you go next week — and next week is the same.
Here7:30 to 8:30, Monday to Friday. You are showered and out by twenty to nine, the day has not had a chance to take it away from you, and the rest of it happens to somebody who has already trained.
A gym membership is a bet that you will go. Most of what people pay for is the equipment they never touch.
HereYou pay for the classes you have chosen, in the days you have chosen, with your place held for you. Nothing else is being sold to you.
Side by side
A gym around here is about 45 € a month. One morning a week with us is 39 €. This is what each of those buys, written down.

If what you want is a pool, a machine room and unlimited access, the gym is the better buy and we would rather say so. If what you want is an hour that actually changes something, this is the cheaper one.
Three disciplines
Each one stands on its own, and the three together cover the whole of what a body needs: load, mobility and control. All of them are open to complete beginners.
Mobility, breathing and control. An hour that opens what sitting all day has closed — hips, spine, shoulders — and teaches you to breathe into an effort instead of holding your breath through it. The breathing is the part that changes the rest of your week.
No experience required and no flexibility required. What you cannot reach today has a name and a route; the teacher will give you both.
Core work and injury prevention: the dancer's own conditioning method, invented for exactly this. Small, precise movements that build the deep muscle a back needs in order to stop complaining. It is the least spectacular hour of the three and the one that changes the most.
Mat work, in a group small enough for the teacher to see whether you are actually engaging what you think you are engaging — which, at the start, you are not.
Barbell strength and conditioning to music, for dancers and non-dancers. High repetitions with a light bar: the method that builds usable strength and endurance without building bulk, which is exactly why dancers use it.
You choose your own load, every track. The person next to you is lifting something different and nobody is counting but you.
The week
Every class is from 7:30 to 8:30, in the main studio: a full hour, not the forty-five minutes a gym gives you. Five days, and the same teacher in all of them.
Barbell strength to music. 20 places.
Core, control and injury prevention. 20 places.
The second session of the week. 20 places.
The second session of the week. 20 places.
Mobility, breathing and a way to close the week. 20 places.
Places and fees
You pick fixed days when you enrol and those places are yours for the season. No booking week by week, no app, no arriving early to claim a spot on the floor.
One B-Pump, one Pilates and one Yoga every week. Load, mobility and control — which is what a body actually needs, and what no single discipline gives you on its own.
Included: one nutrition consultation with Clara at the start of the season, reduced tickets for the company's shows and free invitations to Educa Dance.
Registration 29 € 0 € until 30 September. Discounts for siblings, annual payment and large families are applied at enrolment.
Any one of the three
Any two of the five
Everything, every week
Prefer not to commit to a month? The school's class passes are valid here: 18.50 € for a single class and 170 € for ten, bought in person at the school office at least thirty minutes before the class. Four places in every class are held back for passes and trials. A class with fewer than eight people is cancelled and the fees are refunded.
Thirty people fit in the main studio at this hour. We put twenty in it, because a class where you can touch the person beside you is not the class you meant to buy, and because the ten places we are not selling are what the other twenty are paying for.
Of those places, sixteen are held by name for people enrolled by the month, and four are kept free for trials and class passes. That is how a place can be promised to a regular and to a newcomer at the same time — and why nobody here needs to arrive fifteen minutes early to claim a spot on the floor.
Who teaches
A gym rotates instructors and you learn each one's habits from scratch. Here the three disciplines are taught by one person, who will know your name, your back and what you were doing wrong in October.
Dancer, specialised in these three disciplines, and a graduate in nutrition. She also teaches the school's advanced pre-professional level — the dancers whose bodies have to last. What she knows about load, recovery and what a body needs to be fed is not the ordinary background of a fitness instructor, and it is the reason these classes are worth the earlier alarm. A consultation with her is included with the B-Fit Pass and with The Five Mornings — the part of your training that happens in your kitchen, looked at by someone qualified to look at it.
Part of the house
Ballet de Catalunya is a professional company with a season, a repertoire and an audience. Training here puts you on the inside of that, and it costs you nothing extra.
None of this is an add-on you pay for. It comes with the place.
Before enrolling
One class of whichever of the three you fancy, with the group you would join. Come in what you can move in, and at 7:30 you will be the most awake person in your office.
For a trial class, contact us. Tell us which of the three you want to try — yoga, pilates or B-Pump — and which day suits you. We will hold one of the four open places for you in that class. The trial class costs 12.75 €, paid by card when you book it. Online booking is on its way; for now the school office arranges every trial by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Practical
Nothing to prepare, nothing to buy and no level to prove.
No uniform, no dress code and nobody looking at your leggings.
Very little. The equipment is here.
The same few rules as everywhere else in the school.
How a place works, and what it costs.
Questions
No. These three classes are open to anybody from sixteen, at any level, and most of the people in them have never taken a ballet class. What you get from a dance school is the attention, not a requirement.
No — all three are all-levels classes and start from the beginning every time. Tell the teacher it is your first day and they will keep an eye on you.
Badly, if you count hours: a gym gives you a pool, machines and twenty classes a week for about the same as one morning here. It compares very well if you count what happens in the hour — and it is an hour: sixty minutes, not the forty-five of a gym class, which over a month is four hours of work instead of three. Add twenty places instead of eighty, a sprung floor, and one specialist who knows your name and your back. If what you want is unlimited access and a machine room, the gym is genuinely the better buy, and we would rather say so than sell you the wrong thing.
That is the idea. The class ends at 8:30 and the studio is in the centre of Terrassa. People here are showered and out by twenty to nine.
With a class pass, yes. With a monthly place, no: your place is a fixed slot, because that is what lets us promise a room with space in it. The B-Fit Pass exists precisely so you can have all three every week instead of alternating.
Change it. Ask the office and, as long as the class you want has room, we move your place. It is a school, not a subscription trap.
From sixteen, and no upper limit. Tell us about anything that hurts and the teacher will adapt the exercise.
Yes. A trial class for 12.75 €, or a single class pass for 18.50 € bought at the office. Four places in every class are kept free for exactly this.
Places are named and the list closes when it is full, because that is the only honest way to promise a room with space in it. If the morning you want is still open, one phone call holds it.
Or come and try one first — 12.75 €, paid by card when you book. Four places in every class are kept free for exactly that.
